If you have a dual-SIM phone but you need a third slot for another SIM, Motorola has something for you. It’s called the MOTOKEY 3-CHIP and comes with no less than three SIM card slots. The bad news is that at least for a while this phone will be available exclusively in Brazil but hopefully it will be introduced to other markets as well.
Other than the support for three SIMs, we’re dealing with a regular feature phone that has a QWERTY keyboard while at the back it packs a modest two megapixel camera. Other goodies include a microSD card slot and an FM radio. The phone will be sold bundled with a 2GB microSD card.
This isn’t a touchscreen device plus you also have to be aware of the fact that only one of the SIMs can be used in order to transfer data at a time, while the other two will do only telephony and messaging.
The Motorola MOTOKEY 3-CHIP will go on sale in a couple of days in Brazil and has a suggested retail price tag of 349 BRL, which is approximately $171.
